At Professional Web Services we don’t believe in giving clients surprises when it comes to invoicing, so we create Support Policies for products or specified developments at an agreed price. However these terms can be varied according to individual needs so please feel free to discuss them with us and we’ll try to accommodate you.
We guarantee that all our work or products will meet the agreed specification and you have 60 days to determine that this is so. If you don’t think it has, in any way, please let us know as soon as you finds the problem so we have a chance to put it right, as after 60 days there may be a consultancy charge.
We’re very confident that we’ll get things right first time - we have a 100% success rate so far. So in the unlikely event that a problem results from our failure to meet the initial specification, all the work required by Professional Web Services to meet it will be carried out free of charge. We can’t say fairer than that.
As far as maintenance and support is concerned, we will generally agree an annual support cost of 5% of the product or development cost (inflation-linked), subject to a minimum charge of £250, that covers:
 Calls or emails from one designated individual regarding issues surrounding user errors or program usage, limited to solving problems taking no longer than 20 minutes. Calls or issues lasting longer than this will be chargeable at the normal development rate, with a minimum charge of 30 minutes and
Four quarterly two-hour visits, where we choose the dates.
Development work done on an hourly, daily or weekly basis does not have any ‘support’ or ‘trouble-shooting’ time built into it so it’s not possible to offer the same level of support and time spent resolving issues etc will be charged at our standard development rate.
