We’re experienced in a wide range of web-based systems and take pride in turning the complex process of building on-line information systems into efficient, practical solutions that function beautifully. As you can imagine, numerous technologies can be used to develop a site and its infrastructure. And although we’re trying to avoid unnecessary technical details, you need to know what we can offer you.

For those who are interested, and depending on your specific requirements, we could find ourselves implementing (amongst others) C sharp (C#), VB.NET, HTML, XML, SQL Server and JavaScript. Three of these staples are described very briefly below, but we’ll happily talk about them all in more depth if you ask us to - or when it matters!

You’ll probably have heard of Hyper Text Markup Language - more commonly referred to as HTML - as this provides the web’s building blocks. When you call up a particular website by keying its name (or URL) into your browser’s address book, or click into it from a search engine like Google or Yahoo, it will be directed to your screen via HTML, which enables your browser to transform the coded information into the ‘pages’ that you see on your screen.

Thinking of growing your operation? Then we’ll plan ahead and use a programming language called C#, VB.NET or ASP.NET, because with smart design the applications written within it are scalable (there are many appoaches to doing this, to name three example technologies using only their acronyms MVC, MEF, WCF). So however big your business grows, your site will be able to grow with it, making it perfect for organisations with expansion plans. .NET is Microsoft’s high-end product for secure, web-based applications. Known as a RAD tool, which stands for Rapid Application Development, it can control both internal (intranet) or external (internet) sites and provides high-level functionality that allows us to perform standard and complex web-building activities simply and quickly.

And when you see a website that seems to have clever interactive things going on within the browser - like a calculator or sliding images - you can be pretty sure that JavaScript’s at work. We love it, and so do site visitors.
